Shark Bar is one of the long-running ground-floor bars on Patpong, the tourist-heavy red-light strip between Silom and Surawong. It trades on the area's old-school short-time reputation and sits among the venues where prices are posted — the part of Patpong to stick to, away from the upstairs "special show" bill scams the street is infamous for. A straightforward beer-and-bar-girl format with a steady passing tourist trade.
