Smapa is a large karaoke complex in Shinjuku, Tokyo, with private rooms, all-you-can-drink packages and late opening hours. It's a mainstream Japanese karaoke box — groups book a room by the hour — handy as a late-night option in the Kabukicho area rather than an adult venue. One of the bigger, more visible karaoke spots in a district full of them.
